　　整体评析：下午的口译考试略有难度，但所涉及的口译技巧，数字的念法，Free talk的结构，语句的组织转换皆在昂立课程中重点强调，英译中的段落翻译为教程上的一篇原题，而部分句子翻译昂立课程上有涉及。
        　　E-C段落：
        　　1. The 20 th century may have been the age of scientific advancement but, as the new millennium begins, in terms of world health the progress has been surprisingly slow.
        　　20世纪也许是科技进步的年代，但是随着新千年的开始，就世界范围内的健康来说，其进展是非常缓慢的。
        　　解析：the age of 不是“……的年龄”，在这里可翻为“是……的年代”，in terms of 解释为“就……而言”。
        　　2. Despite growing life expectancy and economic growth, a billion people entered the 21th century without having a share in medical advances.
        　　尽管人们的预期寿命和经济增长均呈上升之势，但有10亿人在进入21世纪时仍没能分享到医学的进步。
        　　解析：开头可快速笔记为“ ↗ life & eco ↗”, “1b”到底是多少人呢?
        　　3. According to the World Health Organization’s latest report, heart disease snatched life away from 7 million people last year. It was the leading cause of death in the west and southeast Asia.
        　　根据世界卫生组织的最新报告，心脏病在去年夺走了700万人的生命。它在西亚和东南亚是主要的致死原因。
        　　解析：World Health Organization 可记为WHO，别习惯性地翻成“世界贸易组织”哦;west and southeast 快速记为“W & S-E”，反应得出是亚洲的什么位置吗?
        　　4. The cause of one’s death is an indictor of one’s wealth. High income countries spend 55 billion dollars annually on medical research, yet only a fraction of this devoted to solving the problems of the poor.
        　　人们死亡的原因是其财富的一个标志。高收入国家每年用于医学研究上的费用为550亿美元，其中仅仅一小部分用于解决穷人的问题。
        　　解析：又出现大数字的口译，“55 b”是多少钱呢?词组“be devoted to”解释为“被用于”。
