        　　上面的报道中，road map 这个说法我们并不陌生，一般都是“路线图”的意思，比如 road map to the peace of the Middle East(中东和平路线图)，campus road map(校园路线图)等。在这里，road map 指考试~大的是 a detailed plan or explanation to guide you in setting standards or determining a course of action，即“详细计划、方案”。
        　　我们都知道 map 是“地图”的意思，那么我们每天看天气预报时的那个专业地图就叫做 weather map(天气图)。世界那么大，而地图的篇幅又有限，所以一般能出现在地图上的地方应该都是很重要或者很有名的，所以 put someone / something on the map 这个短语表示的就是“使某人、某事出名”意思。例如：His impressive performance on the Spring Festival Gala really put him on the map.(他在春节晚会上的出色演出果然让他出名了。)
