　　“四个全面”就是“战略布局”(strategic blueprint)。习近平提出了“中国梦”(the Chinese
Dream)或者说是“中华民族的伟大复兴”(the great renewal of the Chinese nation)。
        　　春节之后第一个工作日，《人民日报》推出重磅系列评论员文章——论协调推进“四个全面”。首次权威定义“四个全面”。

        　　A moderately prosperous society, reform, rule of law, Party discipline --
these "Four Comprehensives" are Xi Jinping's blueprint for China's future.
        　　小康社会、改革、依法治国、党纪，这“四个全面”是习近平为中国未来描绘的蓝图。
        　　“四个全面”即Four Comprehensives，指的是：全面建成小康社会(comprehensively build a moderately
prosperous society)、全面深化改革(comprehensively deepen reform)、全面依法治国(comprehensively
implement the rule of law)、全面从严治党(comprehensively strengthen Party
discipline)。习近平在2014年12月份首次提出了这个概念。
        　　“四个全面”的本质就是“战略布局”(strategic blueprint)。2012年11月，习近平提出了“中国梦”(the Chinese
Dream)或者说是“中华民族的伟大复兴”(the great renewal of the Chinese nation)。“小康社会”(a
moderately prosperous society)，不仅仅是2012年11月党十八大提出的主要目标，也是中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的关键一招(a
crucial step towards the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation)。
        　　2013年11月，党的十八届三中全会部署“深化改革”(deepening reform)，部署了繁荣与社会进步的路线(the route to
prosperity and social progress)。 2014年10月，中国共产党第十八届中央委员会第四次全体会议提出全面推进依法治国(the
rule of law)，保证政府制度的现代化(guarantee modernization of the system of
government)，并倡导社会公正(championing social
justice)。2014年10月8日，习总书记提出从严治党(strengthening Party
discipline)，保持和发展党的先进性和纯洁性。
