        　　The Popularity of BBS
        　　BBS , whose full name is Bulletin Board Service , is gaining its wide
popularity among college students . Nowadays , almost every university has its
own BBS . And everyday many students visit it , by which they make comments and
communicate with one another .
        　　The popularity of BBS is mainly due to the following reasons . Firstly ,
BBS is an open space and provides a free communication platform , by shich
students can express thenselves at will . Secondly , there is a variety of
information on BBS , from which students can find whatever they need . Thirdly ,
BBS provides students more chance to know one another . They can make more
friends with common interests and hobbies .
        　　In my view , our college students can benefit a lot from BBS . We not only
gain much fun but also much useful information . However , it is worth noting
that as BBS is an open space , there is inevitably the issue of information
chaos . Therefore , we must strengthen our critical ability to evaluate the BBS
information .
