Reserving a Seat
We often see there is a table-cloth , a book or something else on the desk
in the classroom or library , indicating the seat is taken . This kind of
phenomenon is very usual on college campus . Strangely enough , few students
will protest it .
Though it is for the purpose of better study for most students to take
seats in advance , this kind of phenomenon has great negative effects . For one
thing , this selfish behavior damages other students' interests . For another ,
reserving a seat violates the rule of faimess . No matter how late you come to
class , the seat is still reserved for you , while many students coming earlier
can not get a seat .
From my point of view , our college students should take a new look at our
behavior of reserving a seat . Only if every one of us improves our
self-consciousness , will it not be a difficult task to get rid of this kind of
unhealthy behaviors on campus .
