Online Games
When it comes to online games , there is no complete agreement among people
. Parents and teachers tend to think online games do nothing but be harmful to
the students . In their opinions , as long as a students begins to play online
games , his aca-demic performance must become sorse . Besides , they say that
sitting before the com-puter screen for a long time will bring negative effects
on the health of young people .
However , there are many others who argue that online games are not always
harmful . They can train the ability of youngsters to respond to things quickly
. Moreover , they can stimulate their imagination and interest in computer
science . More importantly , it does bring young students much pleasure .
From my point of view , it depends on how we use it whether an online game
is harmful or beneficial . It will be a wonderful entertainment if we play it in
a clever way . We young people should have enough self-control ability . Besides
, parents and teachers should give students necessary in structions on how to
take advantage of online games .
