　　A man who has eaten at McDonald's in 53 different countries has reviewed
more than 300 items on his blog.

        　　James McGowan, 28, a software developer from Canada, has written about his
McDonald's finds for the past four years on his blog, Traveling McD's.

        　　McGowan was thoroughly disappointed by his experience with the Aloha Heat,
a pineapple burger which his sister-in-law brought back for him from Hong Kong.
His burger was missing its chili jalapeño relish and its special bun.

        　　The lychee pie (left) was a disaster for McGowan in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
'The flavor was far more acidic than a pie filling should be, and just didn't go
well with the fried crust at all,' he wrote, giving it a zero-star rating.

        　　This burger topped with mashed potatoes and bacon, made with many
ingredients from Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost island, was also a letdown for
McGowan. He said the mashed potatoes were cold and tasteless and didn't do
justice to Hokkaido's high-quality produce.
