Israeli company Nua Robotics has designed a robotic suitcase that follows
tourists around on their travels.The carry-on case has a built-in camera sensor
so it can detect where you are, and travel alongside you while on flat
surfaces.

To avoid theft of the NUA case, there is an anti-theft alarm to draw
attention to unwanted interference.

Even though it may trail behind you, travellers can always be sure of its
location, as the case connects to a smartphone app via Bluetooth.

There is even the option to charge electronic devices on the go.

The company envisage that in the future the technology could be used for a
wide variety of scenarios, including carrying customers' supermarket
shopping.

While the smart case is not currently available, designers hope the luggage
could be on the market in a year. Alex Libman, co-founder and CEO of NUA
Robotics said, 'We want to bring robots into everyday life.'
