　　A true artist doesn’t really need expensive tools and materials to produce
something beautiful, and San Antonio artist Rob Ferrel is the perfect example.
For months, he has been treating his Instagramfollowers with highly realist
portraits that he creates using nothing but salt, a few brushes, and a piece of
cardstock.
        　　一个真正艺术家创作美的东西是不需要昂贵的工具和原料的，圣安东尼奥市的艺术家罗伯·费雷尔就是典型的例子。数月以来，他就一直用食盐，几把刷子和一块卡纸创作高度现实主义的肖像画供他在Instagram上的粉丝观赏。
        　　Ferrel begins by pouring salt on a table and then moves it around with
brushes until recognizable features begin to emerge. He also uses cardstock for
clean, sharp lines. Once the portrait is ready, he photographs it and posts it
to Instagram, and then gathers up all the salt to make his next masterpiece.
        　　费雷尔首先把食盐倒在桌子上，用刷子将盐匀开，知道人物特征开始显现。之后用卡纸清理、描线。待他的人物画作完成，他便会拍下照片上传到Instagram上，然后把所有的盐重新回收以便制作他下一副著作。
