2014诺贝尔奖文学奖：法国作家莫迪亚诺获得

　　诺贝尔奖官方网站消息，诺贝尔文学奖于9日揭晓，获奖者为法国作家帕特里克·莫迪亚诺。此前曾多次被认为是获奖热门的日本小说作家村上春树今年仍无缘奖项。2013年的诺贝尔文学奖颁给了加拿大作家爱丽丝·门罗;2012年的这一奖项则由中国作家莫言获得。
        　　French Writer Patrick Modiano Wins Nobel Prize
        　　A French author, whose work focuses on the Nazi occupation in World War
Two, has been awarded the Nobel Prize for literature.
        　　Patrick Modiano was given the £680,000 prize "for the art of memory with
which he has evoked the most ungraspable human destinies and uncovered the
life-world of the occupation".
        　　The 69-year-old's novel Missing Person won the prestigious Prix Goncourt in
1978.

        　　He was born in west Paris two months after the war ended in July 1945.
        　　His father was of Jewish Italian origins and met his Belgian actress mother
during the occupation of Paris - and his beginnings have strongly influenced his
writing.
        　　Jewishness, the Nazi occupation and loss of identity are recurrent themes
in his novels, which include 1968's La Place De l'Etoile - later hailed in
Germany as a key post-Holocaust work.
        　　Modiano, who lives in Paris, is known to shun media, and rarely conducts
interviews. In 2012, he won the Austrian State Prize for European
Literature.
        　　Canadian writer Alice Munro won the literature prize last year.
        　　As always, the Nobel awards will be presented on 10 December, the
anniversary of prize founder Alfred Nobel's death in 1896.
