He was on a dock in Fort Pierce when he watched a fellow angler reel in a
strange creature, according to the Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission.

He told FWC that the catch, which looks like a shrimp, was about 18 inches
long.

FWC says scientists suspect it might be a mantis shrimp ... which it says
is not related to shrimp but is a type of crustacean called a stomatopod.
FWC称，科学家认为这可能是一种螳螂虾。螳螂虾不属于虾，而是一种叫做口脚类动物的甲壳动物。
从此再也不敢嘲笑“虾兵蟹将”了吧!
