Worried about the state of your marriage? Don't live in Cheyenne, Wyoming,
Las Vegas and Billings, Montana where divorce is most prominent.
But a report in Men's Health magazine, which ranked the 100 U.S. cities
most doomed for divorce, said San Jose in California was the city where
marriages last.
"To determine where "I do" is doomed, we considered the rate of failed
marriages, the stringency of divorce laws, the percentage of the population
who've split, and the number of licensed marriage and family therapists," the
magazine said on its website.
Prospects for divorce were next highest in Reno, Nevada, followed by Little
Rock in Arkansas, Charlotte in North Carolina and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
After San Jose, divorces were least likely to occur in Columbia, South
Carolina and El Paso, Texas. Marriages in Riverside, California and Providence
in Rhode Island were also more likely to last than in other cities.
By state, U.S. government data on divorce rates roughly matched the Men's
Health ranking.
Nevada, Arkansas, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and Wyoming had the highest
divorce rates in 2007, the last year for which the ratios were calculated,
according to the government's National Center for Health Statistics.

从各州的情况看，美国政府的数据与《男性健康》杂志的排名大体上一致。
