The final chapter of the blockbuster Twilight vampire franchise took the
biggest bite out of North America's weekend box office - while a Bollywood film
made a rare showing in the top 10.
上周北美票房的最大赢家非吸血鬼大片《暮光之城》的终结篇莫属，然而一部异军突起的印度宝莱坞电影却意外的闯进了榜单的top10。
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 2, the fifth and final installment of
the wildly popular series, took $141.1 million, according to industry tracker
Exhibitor Relations.
根据北美院线联盟提供的数据显示，目前《暮光之城4：破晓(下)》是暮光系列中最受欢迎的一部，票房已经突破1.411亿美元。
Even more eye-catching perhaps was Jab Tak Hai Jaan (Till My Last Breath),
a three-hour extravaganza that was the last film made by legendary Indian
filmmaker Yash Chopra, the "king of romance," before he died last month.

The movie entered the top 10 at No.8, taking $1.3 million at the box
office, a rare appearance for a Bollywood film in box office rankings usually
dominated by Hollywood productions.
此前，北美票房榜一直都是由好莱坞电影包揽的，这部印度宝莱坞电影竟然以130万美元的票房跻身进入了票房榜top10的第8名，这一现象罕见至极。
"It is very rare indeed for a Bollywood film to make the Top 10," said
Exhibitor Relations expert Jeff Bock, while noting that they "routinely" make it
into the top 20.
“对于宝莱坞电影来说，这的确罕见极了。”北美院线联盟的专家说到，他指出宝莱坞的电影“通常”只会在前20名的榜单里出现。
"Bollywood does have a very loyal following in the US as almost every week
there is a new Bollywood film in limited release, and every now and then they do
open in the top 10," he told AFP.
他告诉法新社的记者：“在美国，几乎每一周都有一部新的宝莱坞电影发行上线，也确实有一批非常忠实的宝莱坞电影追随者。这些电影中不时也会有进入top10的情况。”
The Hindi cinema legend, hailed for directing, producing and screen-writing
some of India's most-loved movies over several decades, died last month aged 80
after being admitted to hospital with dengue fever.

Actors who had worked closely with Chopra, such as veteran Amitabh Bachchan
