                　　不管看影视剧也好，小说也罢，通常要提到订婚仪式，肯定就有男主角给女主角戴戒指的场景，这个订婚戒指叫做engagement
ring我们也都知道。不过，最近有个新趋势，女方也开始给男方送订婚戒指了， 你知道吗?
       
       
                　　In Western tradition, an engagement ring is a ring worn by a woman
indicating her engagement to be married. Conventionally, the ring is presented
as a betrothal gift by a man to his prospective spouse while he proposes
marriage or directly after she accepts his marriage proposal. It represents a
formal agreement to future marriage。
       
       
                　　在西方的传统习俗中，订婚戒指一般是由女方佩戴用来显示其订婚待嫁的身份。一般来说，男方会在向女方求婚或者女方答应求婚后将戒指作为礼物在订婚仪式上送给女方。这个戒指代表正式的婚约。
