A: We have so many things in common. I’d love tochat with you.
我们有许多共同点，我愿意和你聊天。
B: Me too. But it’s time to work now. I have totoddle off and go back to work.
我也愿意。但是现在是工作的时间，我必须离开，回到工作中去。

toddle off1. 解词释义
Toddle off中的toddle是指“摇摇晃晃地走，东倒西歪地走，小孩学走路时的蹒跚走步”。与副词off连用，表示“离开，临时离开，暂时离去”。相当于walk away或者是leave。还可以用做toddle along。2. 拓展例句
e.g. I need to toddle off and rest up a little.
我需要离开然后休息一会儿。
e.g. It is a pity that we shall have to toddle off tomorrow.
我们明天必须离开，真是遗憾。
e.g. Fee cast her no more than a passing glance before toddling off.
菲在离开时仅给了她匆匆一瞥。
Ps 1：in common是共同地，是副词性短语。Have things in common的意思是“有共同之处，有共同点”。再如：
The talks showed there was much we shared a lot in common.
谈判表明, 我们有很多共同点。
He had no life in common with his companions in the world.
在生活上，他与他的同事毫无共同之处。
Ps 2：would love to do 的意思是“非常喜欢做......，非常愿意做......”。例如：
I would love to get some e-mail from somebody in Canada.
我很乐意从加拿大的某个人那里收到邮件。
This baby would love to have you sing her to sleep.
这个孩子就喜欢你用催眠曲把她送入梦乡。
Ps 3：go back to work是指“回到工作中去”。再如：
My holiday is at an end and I must go back to work tomorrow.
我的假期结束了，明天我得回去工作了。
She persisted to everyone that she was strong enough to go back to work.
她向每一个人都坚持说她身体已经好了，可以上班了。
