老外说我是sweet tooth，难道是在夸我嘴甜？

　　我们的“望文生义”系列今天要写的是sweet tooth，sweet表示“甜的，甜蜜的”，tooth表示“牙齿”，那sweet
tooth表示“甜蜜的牙齿”?
        　　其实，sweet tooth是“嗜吃甜食”的意思，英文释义是a great liking for sweet-tasting food, a
weakness for sweets; someone with a liking for
sweets，即“爱吃甜食，对甜食没有抵抗力;爱吃甜食的人”。
        　　例如：
        　　She has a sweet tooth, but as she’s rather fat, she must resist eating
chocolate too often.
        　　虽然特别喜欢吃甜食，但是她已经超重，不能再常吃巧克力了。
        　　I’m a sweet tooth, I couldn’t help eating all the remains of my birthday
cake after the party.
        　　我嗜吃甜食，总是忍不住把聚会剩下的蛋糕吃个精光。
        　　所以，当老外说你是sweet tooth时，不是在说你的牙齿甜，也不是在夸你嘴甜，可千万别理解错了~
