Chinese Premier Li Keqiang arrived in Singapore on Monday, for an official
visit to the country and a series of meetings from November 12 to 16.
中国国务院总理李克强于周一抵达新加坡，开始对新加坡进行正式访问，并于11月12日至16日举行了一系列会晤。
Li will attend the 21st China-ASEAN (the Association of Southeast Asian
Nations) leaders’ meeting, the 21st ASEAN-China, Japan and S. Korealeaders’
meeting and the 13th East Asia Summit, during his visit, according to the
Chinese Foreign Ministry.
据中国外交部消息，李克强将在访问期间出席第21届中国—东盟领导人会议、第21届中国—东盟、日本—韩国领导人会议和第13届东亚峰会。
Singapore holds the rotating ASEAN chairmanship this year.
新加坡是今年东盟轮流主席国。
It is the first official visit by a Chinese premier in 11 years.
Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will hold a welcome ceremony for Li,
and they will hold talks and witness the signing of several memoranda of
understanding (MoUs) and agreements, covering trade, finance and cooperation on
the Belt and Road Initiative, culture and the environment. Li will also meet
Singapore President Halimah Yacob.
这是11年来中国总理的首次正式访问。新加坡总理李显龙将为李克强举行欢迎仪式，双方将举行会谈，共同见证两国关于“一带一路”建设、文化、环境等领域贸易、金融、合作的谅解备忘录和协议的签署。李克强还将会见新加坡总统雅科布。
Amid rising protectionism and unilateralism, China will actively work with
all relevant sides to promote the China-ASEAN strategic partnership and the
integration of East Asia, and to jointly deliver positive messages focusing on
cooperation, East Asia, development, multilateralism and free trade, Li said in
a written statement upon arrival.
在保护主义和单边主义抬头的情况下，中国将积极与各方一道，推动中国-东盟战略伙伴关系和东亚一体化进程，共同传递合作、东亚、发展、多边主义、自由贸易等方面的积极信息，李克强总理到访不久就在声明中这样写到。
Li said that during his visit he wishes to draw from past experience,
deepen cooperation and look for new development opportunities, bringing the
all-round cooperative partnership between China and Singapore to an even higher
level.
李克强说，访问期间，他希望借鉴以往的经验，深化合作，寻找新的发展机遇，把中新全面合作伙伴关系提高到更高的水平。
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of strategic
partnership between China and ASEAN, as well as the 40th anniversary of China’s
reform and opening up, to which Singapore contributed invaluable experience and
investment.
今年是中国与东盟建立战略伙伴关系15周年，也是中国改革开放40周年，新加坡为此贡献了宝贵的经验和投资。 |
