呼麦是中国蒙古族创造的独一无二的歌唱艺术，即一个歌手纯粹用自己的发声器官，在同一时间里唱出两个声部，形成罕见的多声部形态。2006年5月，蒙古族呼麦列入国 家级非物质文化遗产名录。中国蒙古族呼麦于2009年9月入选《人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录》。

Mongolian Hoomei
Hoomei is a unique singing art created by the Mongolian ethnic group of China. In this art, a singer produces two distinct voices simultaneously to form a rarely seen multi-tone harmony. In May of 2006, Mongolian Hoomei was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List. In September of 2009, it was included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
