今天看到微博上这个热搜，小编暗暗的问了自己今年存下多少钱了?不过一提到存款，不少网友的口径变得十分一致，“不存在的”、“什么是存款，根本没有这个东西。”此时小编的心情，别拦我，让我哭会儿，那么英文如何表达“手头紧”“入不敷出”呢?

跟我学：
1、I know maybe you’re a little short on cash.
我知道你手头可能有点紧。
be short on cash 表示“手头没钱”
表达“手头缺钱”时，还常用I'm short of money. 其中短语be short of
就是“缺乏，缺少”的意思。还有一个比较形象的短语，即in the pinch, pinch 有“匮乏，少量”的意思。
2、I don’t have a single penny left.
我身无分文。
在日常口语中也可以用I’m flat
broke.表达。broke指“破产的”，这里强调“穷”的程度，flat意为“绝对的”，也起到强调的作用。
I’m flat broke now and I am not gonna paid by the end of month. What should
I do?
我现在身无分文，而且到月底才发工资呢。我该怎么办?
3、当我们“付不起账单”表达经济上的拮据，这样表达I can’t afford to pay my bills.或者说I ’m behind my
bills for a while.字面意思是“被账单赶超了”形象的表达了“拖欠账单”的状态。
4、“入不敷出”对应的英文就是can’t make ends meet
Even if I take on two jobs, I still can’t make ends meet here in New
York.
即使我打了两份工，我依然在纽约入不敷出。
5、有些人花钱“花钱大手大脚”毫无节制，英文中可以说 She has no control when it comes to spending
money. 或者也可以这样表达She spends money as if it were going out of style.
每个月看到自己的支付宝账单或者信用卡账单时候，我们真想剁了自己的手......
1、当我们看到账单的时候，意识到自己需要缩减开支，英文中可以这样说We have to cut back on expenses.
2、She records her every income and expense.或者简单的说She keeps track of every
penny. 表示“她记下自己的每笔收入和支出。”短语keep track of表示“记录”。
A: I can’t believe she keeps track of every penny.
B: Well, I think it’s a good way to know where all your money went at the
end of the month.
A: 真不敢相信她记下自己的每笔收入和支出。
B: 我认为这是个不错的方法，每个月都能知道自己把钱花在哪些地方了。
3、I 've been saving for a rainy day.
我一直在攒钱，以备不时之需。
也可以这样表达I ’ve been saving up in case of need.
4、如果劝别人别花钱如流水Don’t let it burn a hole in your pocket.
5、我们得省吃俭用We’ve got to tighten out belt. 字面意思就是“勒紧裤腰带”。
A:We have got to tighten our belt for the next month if we want to make the
trip to Paris.
B: Oh, yeah，it’s my dream to visit the city.
A: 我们得省吃俭用了，如果我们下个月想要去巴黎旅行。
B: 哦，太棒了，它是我梦想的城市。
表达“精打细算”，口语中还常用cut corners;
With only 100 yuan left, we had to cut corners to make the journey back
home.
我们只有100元了，不得不精打细算才能回家。
