还在很土的用I think表达“我认为”？这些才是老外常用的高级说法

　　平时碰到老外问你意见，你怎么回答?
        　　大部分人只会回答：I think — —
        　　然而这种说法一看就是从中学教科书上学到的，年代古早得好像博物馆里的旧石器文物，根本不是公元8012年的时髦说法。
        　　所以今天，我们来学习一些表达“I think”更高招的说法。
        　　『 I maintain/suppose/presume that 』
        　　除了think这种老旧的说法，我们可以用 maintain/suppose/presume 这几个词来替换。
        　　这些词都比think、believe 要高大上、听上去有质感，比如。
        　　I presume the director has already heard the news.
        　　我觉得主管已经知道这件事了吧。
        　　I maintain that all workers should be treated eqaully.
        　　我认为所有的工人都应该被平等对待。
        　　I suppose I saw us and our relationship as aging together , rather like a
wine.
        　　随着年龄的增长，我认和我之间的关系慢慢地融洽了好多，就像是一瓶好酒，越陈越香。
        　　『 I would say 』
        　　当然啦，口语中，还可以更轻松些，直接说成“I would say”，意思是“我认为……”
        　　I would say it's almost time to hold him to that promise.
        　　我认为已经差不多是时候让他兑现那个承诺了。
        　　『 If you ask me 』
        　　另外一种比较口语的说法，就是“if you ask me”，翻译成中文，约等于“要我说”。
        　　If you ask me, there's something a bit queer going on.
        　　要是你问我的话，我觉得有点儿不太对劲。
        　　『 In my humble opinion』
        　　这个表达算是中等常见吧，比较文绉绉，适用于比较正式的演讲或书信中。
        　　这个短语有点故作低调，欲说还休的感觉，虽然是humble opinion，其实一般用这个短语时，说话的人对自己观点其实是相当自信的。
        　　这相当于中文里的谦称，类似于古代大臣所说的：依臣愚见的感觉。
        　　In my humble opinion, he will win the election.
        　　依我拙见, 他将在选举中获胜。

        　　『 In my own conceit 』
        　　这个短语也是英文中的“文言文”，是年代比较久远的用法啦。
        　　它的意思是“自以为”，是英国人文绉绉的说法，相当于咱们中文里的“私以为”。
        　　In my own conceit, the best practice is to maintain silent at the
moment.
        　　我以为，此刻最好的做法是保持沉默。
        　　『 from the way I see things 』
        　　这个短语算是比较高阶的说法了。它的妙处是通过视角来表达个人看法。
        　　意思是“从我看事情的方式来说”，即“从我的角度来看”。
        　　Well, the way I see it, when you're in a place you forget what it looks
like from the outside.
        　　从我的角度来看，有时候真是当局者迷。
        　　『From where I am sitting/standing 』
        　　同样的，还有这个说法。
        　　简单来说，这个短语直译起来是“从我站着、坐着的角度来看”的意思，但这和from my perspective有异曲同工之妙，而且更生动、活泼。
        　　From where I was sitting, it seemed that Mr Smith had broken the rule.
        　　我认为，当时史密斯先生破坏了规则。
        　　『 It sounds to me like 』
        　　这个短语也很地道，意思是“在我听来”，其实就是 I think的另一种说法。
        　　It sounds to me like they are passing the buck.
        　　在我听来，他们在推卸责任。
        　　『 In my book 』
        　　这个表达很有特色啦，相当于中文里所说的“依我之见”。
        　　In my book, this is not the way to handle it.
        　　依我之见，这不是处理此事的办法。
        　　『 For my part 』
        　　For my part意思是“就我而言”。
        　　For my part, I apologise for any offence caused by my actions
yesterday.
        　　对我来说，我对昨天由于我的言行引起的冒犯表示道歉。
        　　『 By my reckoning 』
        　　By my reckoning的意思是“据我估计”。
        　　By my reckoning, it must be 60 kilometres from here to the coast.
        　　据我计算，从这里到海岸准有六十公里。
