Dear Sally,
Thank you very much for asking me to your birthday party on Saturday evening. I'd love to come, but I have to go to the countryside to see my grandparents. They are very old and not in good health. My mother has already promised to visit them with me this Saturday. And we'll stay there the whole weekends. so I'm really sorry I can't come. I think you can understand.
