        　　In recent years, more cities in China have begun to build subways. The
development of subway helps to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution. A
growing number of people choose subway as the main means of transportation to
work or go to school every day due to its advantages of safety, quickness,
convenience and comfort. Nowadays, taking the subway is becoming increasingly
convenient in China, because passengers in some cities can take the subway by
simply using their cards or mobile phones and many local senior citizens can
also take the subway for free.
