This has a couple of meanings. If something you do is a ‘wind up’ it means you are making fun of someone. However, if you are ‘wind up’ it means you are annoyed有多种含义。如果你做的事“wind-up”，也就是说你在取笑某人。如果你“wind-up”，说明你很烦。
I was just winding her up for fun, but she took offence to it and got really angry!我只是为了好玩才逗她，没想到她生气了，真的生气了！
