        43. PORKIES43.说谎
        This means telling lies. It comes from cockney rhyming slang. Short for ‘porky pies’, meaning ‘pork pies’, which rhymes with lies!说谎。是“porky pies”的缩写,跟Lies谐音
        Don’t listen to her, she’s telling porkies!别听她的鬼话,她在撒谎!
        44. ROW 44.争论
        This means an argument (rhymes with ‘cow’)争论,与“Cow”是谐音
        My brother had a huge row with his girlfriend yesterday. He’s really upset!哥哥昨天跟女朋友大吵了一架。他真的很生气!
        45. DONKEY’S YEARS45.许多年
        If someone says ‘I haven’t seen you in donkey’s years’, it means they haven’t seen you for a very long time!如果有人跟你说“I haven’t seen you in donkey’s years”,说明你们很久没见了。
        Hi Sarah! What a surprise to see you here. I haven’t seen you in donkey’s years! How have you been?萨拉!没想到会在这遇见。好多年没见过你了!你怎么样?
        46. EASY PEASY46.超简单
        A childish term for something very easy孩子说的话,描述某事很容易
        I could make that for you, if you like? It’s easy peasy!如果可以,我能为你做吗?这很容易!
        47. SORTED47.已解决的
        When someone asks you about a problem you have already fixed, you could say this.如果有人问起一项你已解决的问题,那么你可以这么说。
        What’s happening about that roof leak then?
        -Oh that’s sorted now. I found a really good builder to do the job.
        那个漏水的屋顶怎么样了?
        -噢,这个问题现在已经解决了。我找了一个建筑能手修缮它。
        48. STROP48.悲伤
        If someone is sulking or being particularly miserable, you would say they are ‘being stroppy’, or ‘throwing a strop’如果有人不开心或难过,那么可以说“being stroppy”或“throwing a strop”。
        Janet, would you please cheer up? It’s your birthday, don’t be so stroppy!珍妮特,你能开心点嘛?今天是你的生日,别那么悲伤!

        This is a friendly way of saying goodbye说再见的一种友好方式
        Right, I have to go now, see you soon. Cheerio!好吧,我得走了,再会。拜!

        This is used to say some people have all the luck用来描述某人运气绝佳
        I can’t believe he managed to wangle an upgrade on their airline seats, AND the honeymoon suite in their hotel!他不仅幸运升舱,还住进了酒店的蜜月套房!真是不可思议!
        51. BLINDING51.极好的
        If something is a blinding success, it means it was awesome, brilliant“a blinding success”,说明某事取得巨大成功。
        They had a blinding party after their wedding ceremony. Everyone had such a great time!结婚典礼后,他们举行了一场热闹非凡的舞会。每个人都很开心。
        52. WONKY52.不稳定
        If something is shaky or unstable, you might say it is wonky.不稳的,摇晃的。
        I can’t eat my dinner at this table. It’s wonky and won’t stop wobbling!这张桌子不稳,摇摇晃晃的,我没法好好吃饭!
        53. ZONKED53.劳累的
        If someone iszonkedor ‘zonked out’ it means they are totally knackered, or exhausted如果某人“zonked”或“zonked out”证明他们极度疲累、筋疲力尽
        He had a lot of fun at his birthday party earlier, but he’s completely zonked out now!他在生日聚会上玩的很开心,不过现在累坏了!
        54. DODGY54.可疑的
        If someone or something is a bit dodgy, it is not to be trusted.描述某人不可信任
        This food looks a bit dodgy, it might have passed its expiry date. I don’t think we should eat it.这份食物看起来不太对,有可能过期了。我们最好不吃。
        55. LEG IT55.
        This is a way of saying ‘run’ or ‘run for it’类似“run”’或“run for it”
        I went out on Halloween night, and someone jumped out from behind a bush to scare me. I was so frightened, that I just legged it all the way back home!我在万圣节夜出门,结果有人从灌木丛后面跳出来吓我!我好害怕,吓得我一路狂奔跑回家!
