英语语法：否定副词位于句首时的倒装

        一、英语倒装句是个特殊的句型，在含有否定副词的句子当中，如never, seldom, rarely, little, hardly, scarcely, no sooner, no longer, nowhere 等这些含有否定意义的副词位于句首时，则其后要用部分倒装，例如：
        I shall never tell him. / Never shall I tell him. 我永远不会告诉他。
        He seldom does work at home. / Seldom does he do work at home. 他很少在家工作。
        She hardly has time to have a cup of tea with her friends. / Hardly does she have time to have a cup of tea with her friends. 她几乎没时间和她朋友一起喝茶。
        He little realizes how important this meeting is. / Little does he realize how important this meeting is. 他不明白这个会议的重要性。
        We had no sooner reached the airport than the plane took off. / No sooner had we reached the airport than the plane took off. 我们刚到机场,飞机就起飞了。
        二、(1) 对于not…until句型，当not until…位于句首时，其后的主句要用倒装语序：
        He didn’t leave the room until the rain stopped. / Not until the rain stopped did he leave the room. 雨停了之后他才离开这房间。
        (2) 某些起副词作用的介词短语，由于含有否定词，若位于句首，其后要用部分倒装：
        On no accounts must this switch be touched. 这个开关是绝不能触摸的。
        In [Under] no circumstances will I lend the book to him.无论如何我也不会再借书给他了。
        但是，in no time(立即，马上)位于句首时，其后无需用倒装语序：
        In no time he make the decision to help his sister.他马上就决定帮助他的妹妹。
        三、一般来说，英语倒装句是一种语法手段，英语表示一定的句子结构和强调某一句子成分，在我们平常的日常英语学习中，一定要注意积累英语倒装句的用法，在英语写作当中，也可以尝试运用倒装句，这样对你的写作分值会有所提高。
