At this point, he just wanted the reporter to keep his distance. The last thing Al needed was to have himself exposed due to the reporter's misstep. From Al's perspective, he felt the messages he sent was clear enough. With his mind looking forward to the next thing on his agenda, Al got ready to end this meeting with the reporter. Of course, as always, Al politely thanked the reporter for his time. In the reporter's eyes, Al saw a little bit of disappointment. Nonetheless, Al showed his smile as he took his leave.
