Well, Hodge was sure the boss would know either ways, whether the call was made or not. Hodge always felt the boss knew exactly what was going on. So it appeared that not only had shipments not been arriving for a while, a new shipment would not be coming in anytime soon. In a way, Hodge was thankful for that since he had been having thoughts of getting out of this line of business. Instead of him having to tell the boss, this break was what he was looking for.
