Human beings are now adapting to extreme weather conditions. On the one hand, afflicted by frequent scorching summers, raging hurricanes, icy cold winters and devastating floods. On the other hand, favorable weather becomes a rarity for them. In the future, extreme events will exert a greater impact on climate-dependent sectors, such as water conservancy, agriculture, forestry, energy, health care and tourism. As global economy becomes increasingly unstable and uncertain, the above-mentioned factors further complicate the economic recovery prospect.
