“It's such an honor to have the manager of Club 1997 drop by.” Speeding up his pace, Wolfe promptly navigated through the magazine office and exited the premise. Not wanting to take any chances, instead of waiting for the elevator, he swiftly stepped into the stairwell. It must have been the adrenaline which pushed Wolfe to sprint up all those stairs. Before he knew it, he was already standing in front of the sink in the washroom. He splashed cold water on his face while trying to calm down.
