The intern nodded in agreement, stating how popular the model must have been with the crowd. Wolfe could not disagree. “How about your weekend?” Wolfe asked out of politeness. The intern said that he met up with his cousin from out of town and went out for food. “He used to live in town, but he moved away. Recently, he accepted a new project and will be in town for a while,” the intern explained. Wolfe was trying to pay attention, but when he stole a glance at the clock hanging on the wall, he saw the time.
