The figure continued to approach in the dark. Doug wanted to reach for his cap, but he was afraid any movement would attract attention. The figure stopped at the office where Doug was just in a moment ago. Is that the owner of the office? Why doesn't he go in? What's he doing standing there in the dark? Doug pondered as the figure stood still just outside the door frame. After a moment, which seemed like forever for Doug, the figure finally entered the office. Doug was able to retrieve his precious cap just when the figure turned on the desk lamp.
