        《唐顿庄园》男主角丹·史蒂文斯（Dan Stevens）在Remembrance Day（荣军日：纪念在一战、二战及其他战争中死亡的战士）上朗读著名诗歌《在弗兰德斯战场》。
        《在佛兰德斯战场》（英文：In Flanders Fields）是第一次世界大战期间最重要的诗作之一。这首法文回旋诗体英文诗是加拿大军医约翰·麦克雷中校（John McCrae ）所作，他目睹年仅22岁的战友Alexis Helmer中尉之死后，于1915年5月3日创作了这首诗。1915年12月，这首诗发表在英国伦敦的双周刊Punch 上。因为这首诗，佛兰德斯战场盛开的佛兰德斯红罂粟成为全球国殇纪念日佩花。

        　　In Flanders fields the poppies blow
        　　Between the crosses, row on row,
