　　Some people say that watching TV is bad for children in all ways, but some say that it has positive effects on kids. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.
        　　TV programs are to the young generation what drugs are to criminals. Some may advocate that offspring will benefit from those mass media. While, others hold the viewpoint that it may undermine the youth growing to some extent.
        　　When it comes to the shortcoming of TV shows, the programs with low quality and degraded tastes will definitely waste kids' valuable time, which should be spent in accomplishing their assignments after school, let alone leading to nearsighted and other physical damages. In other words, the TV publications are so attractive and amazing that always enable people, especially children to forget time elapsing. However, the conclusion that new media like TV will impose negative influence on kid all the ways is entirely wrong, for TV programs, on the other side, forms a fantastic educational platform, on which kids may enjoy learning with fun.
        　　On the contrary, the merits of watching TV for kids can never be neglected. For one thing, as mentioned above, TV programs like discovery the nature and historical stories will play roles in kindling kid's interests in sciences and arts. Compared with schooling with textbooks, TV shows are more fascinating for kids who are easy to become tired of studying for a long period of time. For another thing, it is the fashionable and stylish TV program that provides people with huge amount of information as well as relaxing entertainment. Obviously, children cannot be an exception. Due to the pressing learning stress, the young generations are definitely in need of expressive and effective methods of relieving. Nevertheless, sometimes the alleviating pressure will easily cause addiction to TV show for the children, because they lack self-discipline and always are willing to go the easier way, so that parental guidance is a must in this situation.
        　　In sum, the pros and cons of watching TV depends on how people make use of it. As independent citizens, kids' choices should be respected as equal as adults, which should be correctly led in leading media.
