        Nearly three years after How I Met Your Mother signed off with one of the most divisive finales in television history (let's be honest: it was very, very bad), there's another potential spin-off in the works, according to Deadline.《老爸老妈浪漫史》结局已经快3年了，而这部剧的结局也可以算是评价差距最大的美剧之一，而据Deadline报道，这部剧的衍生剧正在筹备中。
        The new spin-off, titled How I Met Your Father, is being developed by This Is Us co-executive producers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger. It would tell a similar story to HIMYM from the female point of view and feature new characters and new writers. The project isn't a traditional spin-off but would simply follow the familiar storytelling structure in which a mother explains to her children how she met their father. 《老爸老妈浪漫史》的衍生剧将会由《This Is Us》的执行制片人Isaac Aptaker和Elizabeth Berger进行制作。这部衍生剧剧情和《老爸老妈浪漫史》类似，但是将会是以新的女性视角同时拥有新的角色和新编剧。这部剧不会是传统意义上的衍生剧叙事方式，讲述一个妈妈跟孩子们讲述自己是怎么遇到他们爸爸的故事。
        No network is currently attached to the project, but like HIMYM, it's in the works at 20th Century Fox Television.目前还没有电视台在接触这部剧，但是和《老爸老妈浪漫史》一样，是20世纪福克斯电视公司制作。
