The contemporary society has witnessed an increasing number of options facing graduates. College students, who lack social experience, are often at a loss when confronting choices like looking for a job somewhere and starting their own business.
Some shift between job markets to hunt for an ideal job while others choose to start businesses by themselves. I personally contend that self-employment is a preferable choice. To begin with, it places me in various challenges and difficulties, which cultivates my all-round abilities. Besides, it is a relatively rapid way to realize my dream. Yu Minhong, the founder of New Oriental School, is the best case in point. Were there no courage to set up the first English training institution in China, never would Yu realize his dream in English education.
I, as a college student, firmly believe that making the right decision is critical for one’s future development. Consequently, we should evaluate our strengths and setbacks correctly and make the final choice rationally. Only in this way can we expect a promising future.
