英语基数词变序数词的一些规律

        一、序数词和基数词都称作为数词，他们之间有着必然的联系，那么，基数词变序数词的也是有规律的，下面是一些简单的口诀：
        基变序，有规律。　
        1,2,3特殊记，加th从4起 (first,second,third,fourth)
        8少t，9去e，千万别忘记 (eighth,ninth) ，逢5逢12，ve变f (fifth,twelfth)
        20到90，y要变ie (twentieth,ninetieth)  ，12若是几十几，前基后序别倒位 (ninety-first)                     
        二、序数词前面常与定冠词the 连用，当序数词单纯地表示‘第几’的时候就加the.例如：
        1.The first is better than the second.
        第一个比第二个要好.
        2.He was among the first to arrive.
        他是首批到达的.
        3.His father died in the Second World War.
        他父亲在第二次世界大战中死去.
        4.Jack is always the first to get to the office in the morning.
        杰克每天早晨总是第一个到办公室.
        三、但序数词在下列情况下也可以不与the连用：
        1.在表时间空间的间隔时,如：every fifth day (=every five days) 每5天
        2 当前面有物主代词时,如：
        my first teacher
        我的启蒙老师
        China exploded its first atom bomb in October 1964.
        中国于1964年10月爆炸了第一颗原子弹.
        3.表示“再”“又” 时,用不定冠词,如：
        He bought a third book.(再买了2本书后）他又买了一本书
        4.某些习语中,如：
        at first first of all come (out) first 名列第一
