        　　With the careful preparation by the English-lovers' Association, the annual
English Culture Week is ready to meet you at the beginning of next month.
        　　The programmes in this year's Culture Week will be more diverting and
colorful.
        　　There will be a variety of activities such as English Drama Contest,
English Songs Contest and English Speech Contest.
        　　The English Culture Exhibition will give a vivid introduction to the
western customs.
        　　The highlight will be the famous British music band ABC's performance of
Beatles' classical songs at the closing ceremony.
        　　The Week will start on Nov. 1st and last seven days in the Students Club
Center.
        　　All the competitions will be held at night, from 7: 00 p. m. to 9: 00 p.
m., while the exhibition will be open from 8:00 a. m. to 9:00 p.m. for the whole
week.
