still
和yet都有“还”、“仍然”的含义，still常用于肯定句中，表示“某事正在进行中”，一般与现在时态或进行时态连用。也可用在疑问句或否定句中，在否定句中须放在否定词not之前。
yet表示“某事尚未发生”，多用于否定句或带否定词的陈述句中。yet通常放在句尾，still一般放在句中。
Still用于进行时态：
I'm still hungry.
我还是很饿。
Does he still work in the company?
他还在那个公司工作吗?
still用于否定词前：
They still haven't got more money.
他们到现在还是没有赚更多的钱。
still 出现在疑问句中，常表示某种感情色彩，"惊讶、生气"等。
Is that boy still here?
那个男孩还在这里么?
Yet用于否定句中，可与最高级连用：
He has not yet begun to work.
他尚未开始工作。
Of all the songs I've heard tonight, that's the best yet.
在我今晚听到的所有歌中，那首是最好的。
Yet可以用于强调 another 或 again 之类的词，尤指数量增加或某事发生频繁：
Rachel bought yet another pair of shoes to add to her collection.
雷切尔已经有那么多鞋，居然又买了一双。
I'm sorry to bother you yet again.
我很抱歉又来麻烦你。
另外Still作副词讲，还有以下的含义：
1.尽管那样，尽管如此
You may not approve of what he did, but he's still your brother.
你可能不赞成他的所作所为，但他仍然是你的兄弟。
2.(程度或数量)还要，更加
The company is hoping to extend its market still further.
公司希望可以进一步拓展市场。
另外：Still作形容词，有以下的含义：
静止的;不动的，安静的
She sat perfectly still while I look at her.
我看着她的时候，她坐着一动不动。
