《跟踪者》第一季围绕受害人被跟踪，发生一系列事件而讲述的故事。在S01E08中，马克曾经是一个光头党，他的朋友查德希望他能回归大家。马克的妻子与孩子兰顿同时被罪犯威胁，正当马克手足无措之时罪犯只是砸碎了他们家的玻璃。兰顿去捡球与查德偶遇，查德逗兰顿玩的行为让马克的妻子感到紧张。兰顿在玩耍时打开了一个箱子，谁知这箱子里竟装的炸弹。查德被警方拘捕，但贝丝一直问不出来新线索，同事激怒查德导致其因袭警罪入狱。当最终嫌疑人被抓获时马克一家人都送了一口气，配以插曲《Ripitide》结束了这一集。
