　　一年一度的两会逐次拉开序幕。政府经济刺激方案资金的使用成为代表委员们共同关注的热点。由于国内外经济形势复杂，中小企业的生存状态和发展前景也成为本次两会的焦点之一。

　　Other members were more concerned about the disadvantaged groups of society, such as farmers and small- and medium-sized enterprises .
　　其他委员则更加关注农民和中小型企业等社会弱势群体。
　　我们平时说到“中小型企业”的时候都会用SMEs也表示，这个说法的全称为small- and medium-sized enterprises，最后一个s小写是因为它在这里表示enterprise(企业)的复数形式。与之很相似的一个表达可能大家也见过，就是SOEs，即state-owned enterprises(国有企业)。由此举一反三就可以知道privately-owned enterprises为“私营企业”，collectively-owned enterprises是“集体企业”，而foreign-funded enterprises则是“外资企业”。
