　　中美双方经过七轮磋商，终于在11月8日就纺织品问题达成协议，商务部发言人说，一体化后美方频繁对中国纺织品实施限制措施，给两国纺织品贸易带来了极大的不稳定性，中美两国业界强烈要求两国政府通过磋商达成协议，为两国业界创造稳定的贸易环境，维护双边经贸关系。中美纺织品协议将于2006年1月1日正式生效。
