　　The Chinese yuan will rise 2 to 8 percent annually in the next five years and the economy will score another double-digit growth in 2006, state media on Sunday cited a study as saying.

　　报道中的double-digit就是“两位数”，digit指“十个阿拉伯数字符号从0到9中的任意一个”，例如：The number 2001 contains four digits.(2001是个四位数。)由此，“两位数增长”可以表示为a double-digit growth/ a double-digit increase/ to increase by double digits。
　　另外，顺便提一下动词score(实现)，在这里它可用动词achieve来替换，其相应的英文解释是：to achieve a purpose, especially to make a surprising gain(实现目标，尤指取得令人惊奇的成果)。举个例子，The Liberals have scored a dramatic victory in this election.(自由党人在这次选举中大获全胜。)
