　　体育比赛中，常常会用到“阵容”这个词，英语中的lineup就是这个意思，足球和篮球比赛中的“首发阵容”，我们通常用starting lineup表达，如，He was back in the starting lineup after being benched at the start of Monday's game by Carlisle for oversleeping and missing a shootaround. (他星期一因睡过头错过练球，被教练卡莱尔降为替补球员后，昨天重回先发阵容。)
　　除用于体育比赛，lineup 还可在其它场合使用，如：2004 Automarket Best lineup (2004中国车坛最佳阵容);cabinet lineup(内阁阵容);an all-star lineup(全明星阵容)。
