　　“临床试验”是个医学术语，在英语中叫clinical trial，就是基于对患者直接观察而做的医学试验。Clinical 有“临床的”意思，比如，clinical diagnosis(临床诊断);clinical medicine(临床医学)等。
　　Clinical 还可指“冷静的;客观的”，如，clinical judgement(客观的判断)。
