　　如果仔细阅读报道中的两段文字，即使不熟知“stand-in”，您也会在随即出现的“substitute”中猜出它的大致意思“替身，代替”。Stand-in (替身)源于动词词组“stand in for”(暂时代替某人)，例如：I'm standing in for the regular man while he's on holiday.(那位正式职员休假了，由我暂时顶替他的职位。)
　　在这里，顺便提一下我们之前讲过的stuntman (特技表演者)，stuntman也可做“替身”，不过更强调“身怀绝技、有某种特异功能”的替身演员。
