香港爆禽流感销毁疫区数万只鸡

香港有关当局说，检验结果证实，一种致命性禽流感病毒造成当地一个家禽农场的鸡只死亡。
         
        　　Authorities in Hong Kong say tests have confirmed that a deadly strain of bird flu virus killed chickens at a local poultry farm.
         
        　　渔农自然护理署发言人星期四对记者说，政府正在调查H5N1型病毒如何传染到这个农场。
         
        　　A spokesman for the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation told reporters today that the government is investigating how the H5N1 virus reached the farm.
         
        　　卫生局局长周一岳这个星期早些时候说，在香港北部和中国大陆交界附近的一个农场发现大约60只死鸡。
         
        　　Health Secretary York Chow said earlier this week that about 60 dead chickens were found at the farm in northern Hong Kong, near its border with China's mainland.

        　　Initial tests showed the birds were infected with a form of bird flu.
