At least that is what voters in an ongoing online poll run by Spain's 20 Minutos newspaper are saying about China's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu.
44岁的姜瑜，在这份报纸的“全球最美艳女政客”排名中榜上有名。
Jiang, 44, is in the running for the paper's pageant of the world's most beautiful woman in politics and government.
截止到昨晚九点半，她在30多个国家的64位候选人中，以5048票排名第45位。
By 9:30 pm yesterday, she was ranked 45th among 64 candidates from more than 30 countries, with 5,048 votes.
64位候选人的照片被刊登在报纸的网站（ http://listas.20minutos.es ）上，从去年12月10日开始，供网上用户投票评选。
Photos of the 64 contenders were posted on the newspaper's website for online users to cast their votes in the poll that started on Dec 10.

As expected with her line of work, some of the votes from Jiang inevitably came from the reporters she meets frequently in press conferences.

Konstantin Shepin is one such admirer.
这位28岁的俄罗斯记者，在俄罗斯新闻社的北京办事处工作，当他从中文网站得知他最喜欢的中国女政客当选时，异常激动。
The 28-year-old Russian reporter working for Russia News Agency's Beijing bureau was over the moon when he learned from Chinese websites that his favorite Chinese woman official got selected.
“我非常激动，而且马上给我的同事打了电话，” Shepin说。“就我个人来说，我觉得她是中国外交的一个迷人的象征，”他说。
"I got very excited and immediately called my colleagues," Shepin said. "Personally, I find her a very charming symbol of Chinese diplomacy," he said.
姜瑜本人目前还没有就此发表看法。她出生在北京，1986年毕业于有着“中国外交官的摇篮”之称的中国外交学院。
Jiang - who could not be reached for comment - was born in Beijing and graduated from the China Foreign Affairs University, widely considered to be the cradle of Chinese diplomats, in 1986.
她在外交部工作了20多年，并先后工作于世界各地，甚至是在纽约的联合国总部。
She has worked for the Foreign Ministry for more than 20 years and has been posted around the world, including the United Nations headquarters in New York.
2003年，她被指定为外交部的发言人和信息部的副组长，是自1983年新闻发言人制度建立以来，我国的第四位外交部发言人。
She was designated the ministry's spokeswoman and deputy head of its information department in 2003, becoming the country's fourth Foreign Ministry spokeswoman since the spokesperson system was introduced in 1983.
Shepin在姜瑜出任外交部发言人时，就一直工作在北京，至今已有5年。
Shepin, who has worked in Beijing for five years, was there when Jiang made her debut as spokeswoman.
“那时，她还有点儿害羞……作为外交部发言人是一个很大的责任，但是她总是微笑着的。她很容易和人们相处，”他说。
"At that time, she was a little bit shy ... It's a huge responsibility to be a spokeswoman but she's always smiling. It's easy for people to get along with her," he said.
这位记者特别感谢姜瑜在去年夏天北京奥运会时的帮助。“她心地善良，心胸开阔，这就是我喜欢她的原因，”他说。
The reporter especially appreciated Jiang's help during the Beijing Olympics last summer. "She was kind-hearted and open-minded, that's why I really like her," he said.
Shepin的同事，玛丽亚Chaplygina说，姜瑜理应得到今天的称赞。
Maria Chaplygina, Shepin's colleague, said Jiang deserves her latest accolade.
认识姜瑜两年的Chaplygina说：“当我第一次见到她时，我觉得姜瑜是那种可以代表一个国家的人。作为女人，能像她一样处理复杂棘手的问题并不容易，但是她总是自信并且谨慎。”
"When I first saw her, I felt Jiang was the kind of person who could represent a country. It's not easy for a woman as she always has to deal with tough questions, but she's always confident and careful," said Chaplygina, who has known Jiang for two years.
“她是一个有品位的美丽女人，”她说。
"She's a pretty woman with taste," Chaplygina said.
姜瑜在信息部的一个不愿透露姓名的同事昨天告诉《中国日报》的记者，在定期举行的新闻发布会上，姜瑜很少穿同样的衣服。
One of Jiang's colleagues at the information department, who declined to be named, told China Daily yesterday that Jiang seldom wears the same clothes to the regular press briefings.
“她自己选择和搭配衣服。我们的女同事们经常谈论她穿衣服的风格，”他说。
"She picks and matches the clothes herself. My female colleagues often talk about the way she is dressed," he said.
一个交通讯员齐斌说，姜瑜代表了东方之美。
Qi Bin, a diplomatic correspondent of China News Agency, said Jiang is a symbol of Eastern beauty.
他还说：“但是，有时候出席一些非正式场合，她很现代。”
"But sometimes she also shows up in modern style at unofficial occasions," he said.
Shepin表示：“中国以其女政客而闻名，继副总理吴怡退休后，越来越多的人们开始谈论姜瑜。”
"China is famous for its lady politicians," Shepin said. "After vice-premier Wu Yi retired, people are talking more and more about Jiang Yu," he said.
