　　国家发改委本周二公布了新的反价格垄断规定，以预防和制止价格垄断行为。新法规将有助于我国政府抑制通货膨胀压力。

        　　根据该法规，签订限价协议以及滥用在市场的垄断地位来排除或限制竞争等违法行为将被禁止。
        　　
        　　在上面的报道中，price-fixing指的是“限价”或“价格垄断”，即垄断厂商凭借自身的垄断地位，为谋求自身利益最大化而制定垄断高价或垄断低价的行为。“价格垄断”也可以用price monopoly来表示。垄断厂商可通过price-rigging（操纵价格）获得monopoly profit（垄断利润）。
        　　
        　　发改委推出反价格垄断新法规就是为了进一步限制这种anti-competition behavior（反竞争行为），打击speculation and hoarding（囤积居奇）和price collusion（合谋定价）等活动。
