        　　新华社报道如下: Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas, vowed on Sunday to hit Israeli targets abroad after one of its leaders was assassinated in Damascus earlier in the day. The group said in a leaflet that Israel has opened a new gate of conflict. Armed wing表示“武装派别，军事派别”，因为wing有“（政党中的）翼，派别”的意思。例如：the right wing of the Labour party（工党右翼）；conservative wing（保守派）；the left wing writers（左翼作家）。
         
        　　据悉哈利勒现年42岁，曾在加沙地带活动。以色列1992年把他和一大批巴勒斯坦人从加沙驱逐至以色列与黎巴嫩之间的无人地区。在加沙的沙贾耶居民区，人们聚集在哈利勒家，向他的家人致哀。
