        Irreversible
        Irreversible means the outcome cannot be returned to the original state. What is irreversible? Why is it so?

        1) irreversible chemical reactions, such as explosion, cooking, burning, etc.
        2) actions with irreversible consequences
        3) the reverse drive on the car is broken
        4) trying to balance an irreversible chemical equation

        范例1：
        “To the body, it would be like stepping on the gas and the brakes at the same time. The engine gets reved up, but is unable to move. The situation is obviously not sustainable as these two opposing actions are not meant to be carried out at the same time. The engine may be burnt out, causing irreversible damage. The same case applies to the body. The combination of these two drugs causes high stress to the body. As a result, the body is forced into a fight or flight response.”
